V.V. Brown & Shark In The Water...

V.V. Brown is already a star overseas. Very soon, she'll be taking over the North American charts.

I've had her songs on my iPod for a couple months now - ever since the first day I heard Shark In The Water. That'll be her debut single here. And I'm already hoping Game Over is her second single.

She stopped by the Star and Kiss studios to perform for us yesterday. V.V. doesn't need a full back-up band to sound amazing as you'll soon see. All she brought with her yesterday was Janek on guitar and backup vocals.

The KFC Double Down Review...

The media hysteria about KFC’s new Double Down sandwich convinced me I had to try it. Just about every article / review I’ve read says it’s one of the most unhealthiest sandwiches of any fast food chain, so I had to see what this was all about.

When I’m not on vacation, I almost never go out to eat. And when I do, I usually stick to my favorites: Little Caesar’s Pizza, the Flying Saucer Restaurant, Old Country Buffet, Burger King, Wendy’s, Dunkin Donuts, or Tim Hortons.

My original plan was to get about three Double Downs for supper. Then I saw the price. It’s $4.99 for one or $6.99 for one with the value meal. So I just ended up getting one Double Down and a two-piece chicken dinner (with one of their awesome biscuits and mashed potatoes) - thank you to KFC for online coupons.

The Double Down is cheese and bacon surrounded by - not bread - but two pieces of chicken (either original or grilled - I went with the original). It was excellent!!! I love bacon and was definitely able to taste it in this food masterpiece. And the KFC chicken is always good, so two pieces at once was like heaven for my taste buds. I don’t think I could have eaten more than two, so I’m happy I didn’t go through with my original plan. In fact, one was enough (especially since I had the extra food anyways, lol).

Overall, mmmm-mmmm, yummy, yummy - and highly recommended! But this is definitely not an everyday type of food. Not even an every week thing. Once in a while is more than enough. It sure did make for a perfect meal while watching everyone starve on Survivor though (at least until some of them got to feast).

The fact that I was able to write this proves I survived the meal. So most of the reviewers are all just big health-nut whiners. Every now and then it’s okay to be bad and eat something that’s sooooo good.

Tiffany on Star 102.5!

Tiffany's back!

Her new movie Mega Piranha debuts tomorrow night (April 10th) at 9pm on the SyFy Channel. In the movie, she teams up with Barry Williams (Greg Brady) to stop mega piranha from taking over Florida.

She's also been working on a new CD - a country CD! Hear one of the new songs on Tiffany's website.

In between battling piranha and rebooting her music career, she also took the time to talk to me today during the All Request Hour. She talked about being labelled a mall queen, the so-called 80's rivalry with Debbie Gibson, her upcoming country CD, and of course the mega piranha.

I was actually a little surprised when I first saw this. But that's probably because everything made for kids now is way too G-rated. When you think about it, this is actually a lot tamer than most of the 70's and 80's cartoons that aired on regular network TV.
