Wonderfalls was one of my favorite TV shows ever. Yeah, I know, it only aired 4 episodes. But 13 were made and I love the
DVD set.

The episodes got funnier and crazier as the series went on. One of them that didn't air was called "
Muffin Buffalo". In it, Jaye takes the advice of a talking buffalo on a neighbor's apron and ends up annoying her neighbors but also setting in motion a string of events that eventually helps everyone involved.

This Wednesday on Pushing Daisies (another all time favorite show of mine), we find out what's become of MaryAnne Beattle, one of those neighbors. The character will be the focus of the "Comfort Food" episode (the star of Pushing Daisies also played Jaye's brother on Wonderfalls).
I'm still annoyed that ABC cancelled Pushing Daisies, but at least it's looking like they'll continue airing it through the end of the year. It might even make it through all the episodes made for this season.
The show's creator is hoping to wrap up all the season two storylines in comic book form. After that, he's planning on doing a Pushing Daisies movie, which will continue the storyline.

This is most likely not an empty promise. He's done it once already (another of his series - Dead Like Me - has a
reunion movie coming out this February).
Don't forget - Pushing Daisies this Wednesday at 8:00pm on ABC!
