I want to be on Solitary...

Yeah, I’m writing again about Solitary. I watched season 2 again and the three new episodes of season 3 this weekend. This game was so made for me!

Big Brother would be horrible because I’d have to deal with people. Amazing Race would be extremely stressful, plus I’d have to put up with a partner that I’m not sure would go along with my insane strategy. Now The Mole would be a blast, but I don’t think that’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Solitary though is perfect.

The $50,000 would be nice (and direly needed), but the experience of being on Solitary would be awesome. Getting to know VAL a little better would be a great extra benefit too. OK, just kidding on that last part. Although, VAL would be my only friend while I was there - a friend that would cause pain and torture constantly, but then make you love “it” for giving extremely brief moments of happiness.

The only part that would worry me is the eating part. If you should throw up first during the eating competition, that eliminates you from the game. That seems wrong to me. All that work and your body quits for you. I would continue on even if my body didn’t like what it’s eating. If I could force myself through that part (or get lucky and have someone get sick before me), then I’m sure I could conquer the game. Do you hear that, VAL? I could easily conquer your game!

If you like reality shows and haven’t seen it yet, you've got to check it out. It airs Saturdays at 9pm (and repeats a lot) on the Fox Reality Channel or you can watch all the episodes for free on Hulu.com (new episodes show up by Sunday night usually).

Maybe next season you’ll be seeing me on it - I’m definitely going to try when the casting call goes out! Brian Demay of course is cringing at the thought of this as he would be the one staying late to do my 80’s hour each night and having to get into our nightmarishly complicated automation.

But the plus for the station (yeah, I’m going to try to sell this on them) is each contestant is stuck with only a few possessions on Solitary. I would of course wear all Star 102.5 stuff or at least something with the Star logo. What incredible publicity for the station. (Do you think they’ll buy that?)

Go watch Solitary. But not during our No Repeat Workday or the 80’s After Work - sometime after that would be good...
