Jon McLaughlin in the Star Lounge...

Jon McLaughlin came by the Star studios this morning! He'll be performing tonight at 8pm at The Tralf, but he wanted to give us a preview of tonight's show.

In addition to playing his huge hit Beating My Heart, he talked with Rob Lucas about the video for the song, his Wikipedia page, and life on the tour bus.

Cherisse got the pictures, I took the video (I'm far from being a good videographer, but at least I kept things in focus), and Brian handled all the audio engineering this morning. You can see the 14-minute video here.

If you haven't already got Jon's CD OK Now, go buy it! Especially if you're a fan of 80's music. He purposely made the album have an 80's feel to it. I think it's one of the best releases of 2008.
