Darien Lake has made a bunch of cool changes for the 2010 season.In addition to the giant waterpark expansion which opens this weekend (Splashtown at Darien Lake), they've also added a new show to the Galaxy Theater.
It's called Sea Lion Splash and starts this weekend. It even includes a pool in front of the theater where you can photograph the sea lions after the show. Find out more on the Darien Lake website.
There will also be the Kris Allen free in-park concert this Sunday. And there's been a few awesome changes to some classic rides...
- VIPER: It's back to it's original color! Plus another little on-ride surprise.
- CORN POPPER: The original name returns (previously the Rodeo Roundup). Corn Popper describes this ride so much better, so I'm happy the name is back.
- SLEIGHRIDE: A new light package and another fun surprise.
- ALL ROLLER COASTERS: New rider announcements (which me and Kiss' Shannon Steele are VERY psyched about). :)
