They've made it a month - now with just one week away from the end, quitting is insane. Why even bother going on the show if you're going to give it all up - not to mention giving up with the end so close. It's not like they'll be going home - they'll just be going to Ponderosa to wait out the rest of the game with the others that have already been voted out.
I assumed they'd also be giving up their right to be on the jury - sadly, that's not the case. That's just not right that they'll both be allowed to decide the fate of the winner when they couldn't even last through the game.
The only thing more annoying than two players wanting to quit so close to the end is Jeff Probst giving them a chance to think about their moronic move. No, if they're going to quit, let them go - they don't deserve to be there. The only bright spot in all this is there was no way either one of them would win the million after that. I would hope that no one would vote for those two to win after that. Not that it matters though, as they're both out now.
It's too bad in a way because I thought NaOnka was playing a great game. And she was 100% convinced she could win the game. I kind of doubt she would have, but now she'll never know (and neither will we).
I always have the opportunity to interview the players after they've left the game. But I won't be interviewing either of these two. It's not worth it. The only question I could even think of asking would be if they regret quitting the game now. That's it. It would be a pretty boring interview, so why bother?
I can't possibly understand how hard it is to be out there, but I do understand that they've lasted 28 days and are only 11 days from the end. Giving up at this late stage is not something that makes sense to me.
