Free music is always good.
And this is totally legal and there's no strings attached. I always test these things out before posting them here.
Remember the group Vertical Horizon? They had a few incredible hits about ten years ago (Everything You Want, You're A God, and Best I Ever Had). Well, they're back and they've got a new song called Save Me From Myself which you can hear on Star 102.5.
And the band has made it so you can download their new song FREE from their website!
Just go to their official website, type in your e-mail and zip code, and they'll e-mail you the link for the free song. That's it.
Once you download it, you'll have to extract the file. If you already know how to do that, you're set. If not, download a program that can extract files (I use a free program called 7-Zip that's easy to download and install and has come in handy on quite a few occasions like this).
Here's Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon and Richard Marx performing the song a few weeks ago. The sound quality isn't that great, but it proves he can definitely perform the song live and acoustic!
For a couple of other free song downloads, see my blog pages for a free Coldplay album and the remake of Somebody's Watching Me.
