Sugar Ray showed that after going six years without an album, they've still got it. I didn't realize that when you go to see Sugar Ray perform, it's not just a concert - it's a performance. They totally owned the stage. That was a fun show!
It's now obvious that Parachute is on the verge of taking off and becoming a band that could end up being as big as Sugar Ray. I get calls asking about their music every time I play "She Is Love".
Michael Tolcher did his entire performance solo and proved how great of a singer he is (especially when he turned some rap songs into pop songs). Listen to Star 102.5 tomorrow morning for more on Michael - we might hear from him during the morning show.
The Innocent Bystanders opened the show up. Unlike a lot of other WNY bands, they're not just a cover band. A lot of their originals were really good and they fit in perfect with the other groups last night.
And as usual for a Star concert, there was tons of chances to go up and meet a lot of the performers (even if you didn't win the VIP tickets).
Here's all the info on last night's performers...
